Thursday, March 25th
(12) Cornell vs. (1) Kentucky - 9:50 pm ET - CBS
NCAA Tournament

In advance of tonight's game, here's my half of a Q&A with IUPUI blog Student on Sports.

Jaguars Examiner previews this evening's contest.

The Daily Princetonian has a proper article on the Duquesne game.

Princeton recruit Daniel Edwards was named First Team All-District 10-4A.

Cornell (29-4) did it again with an incredible offensive performance against one of the nation's top defensive teams, putting up 1.45 points per possession and blowing out Wisconsin, 87-69. The Big Red are the first Ivy League team to reach the Sweet 16 since 1979. Soft Pretzel Logic nails it - there is no such thing as impossible.

If Princeton should win tonight and the College of Charleston also wins their CBI game, the Post & Courier implies their semifinal matchup would likely be held at Jadwin Gym.

I wondered what could have possible made our RPI go up so much.

It looks like you have switched IUPUI's RPI with Princeton's.

Good catch. In the frenzy to get out this morning, I transposed the RPI, Sagarin and KenPom numbers. Thanks.

I'm also hearing that it is extremely unlikely that Princeton would host a CBI semifinal, despite what Bobby Cremins said.

For anyone interested in following the play-by-play of the tonight's game, go to AOL sports, then college basketball scores, click on Princeton and it will show play-by-play as an option. It's not as good as radio or TV but it's better than watching for score updates on espn.

I e-mailed the sports information director about the radio feed, and he fixed it. The audio is finally up on IUPUIjags.com

RE: Jon's tweet:

Why would we play St. Louis? The bracket (and the Charleston Post & Courier article) indicate that we will play VCU, probably in Richmond.

Does the CBI re-seed for the final four?

Jon Solomon said,

Yes. They'll re-seed later tonight.
