In the spirit of "Education Through Athletics" there was a teachable moment at the end of the Towson game. With only 17 seconds left, and the Princeton lead then at 14, Towson came down the court and threw up a three point shot.

A Princeton player who shall remain nameless then fouled the shooter, who not only made the trifecta, but also sank his free throw, thus cutting the margin to ten points. [Suspect he heard about it from the coaches and his teammates!]

Had this game been any closer, it might have been a horrible mistake on the part of the defender. Happily we still had a cushion, so only a few bettors were hurt by this error.
