Princeton NCAA Press Conference.

The afternoon before Princeton's NCAA Tournament game against Kentucky, Tigers Ian Hummer, Dan Mavraides, Kareem Maddox and Douglas Davis answered the media's questions.

Princeton's four double digit scorers were soon followed to the podium by their head coach Sydney Johnson.

Photos and videos from the Tigers' just-concluded open practice on the floor of the St. Pete Times Forum are coming soon.

I'll bet none of them used the great Rohrshach line from Watchmen (to paraphrase):

"None of you understand. We're not locked in here with Kentucky. They're locked in here with us."

We all know that this is NOT the slow down Princeton-- despite what some uneducated commentators have said. And I suspect Kentucky is preparing for the type of game we've played all year. Nevertheless, I'd love to see us pass the ball around about ten times one sequence, perhaps then bringing Mack Darrow up to the top of the key (with KY center following) and seeing him can a three, or hit a cutter in the now open lane.
That would mess with their minds!

KY fans are busy griping about their seed and looking ahead to the next round.

Go Tiger! Nobody expects you to win-- so have a lot of fun, play like we know you can, and surprise 'em. Again! That's why they play the game.
