For years I have wondered how Princeton chooses its uniforms.
I can imagine during the Carril years, Pete simply told Hank Townes to get whatever he could.
But now, who decides? Does Nike (or whomever) come in with various designs within our budget, then the Coach decides, or asks the captains for input, etc.?
Be nice to have a distinctive uniform design that was both classic and definitively Princeton. And maybe even one we would stick with year in, year out.
I believe that Nike issues new uniforms every season as part of their agreement with Princeton's athletic department.
