Great analysis at Ivy Hoops Online. We could very easily be 3-1 and still have a lot of serious issues. Kind of like hitting three mediocre shots on a par 4 and making a 30 footer. My expectation was that Connolly, who started most games last year, would improve "normally" in the way that most juniors do. No one expected him to replace Maddox. If we can create some scoring opportunities for Koon perhaps his obvious talent will emerge and his confidence will rise. Everyone defers, naturally enough, to the veteran scorers.
