Around the Ivy League: It was a very poor day for the conference. Brown (3-3) was the lone victor, defeating winless Monmouth, 79-71. The sane Wagner team that won at Jadwin went into the Palestra and came away with a 71-65 win over Penn (3-2). Seton Hall bested Yale (2-2) by a 73-62 final. Columbia (0-4) remained winless, losing 67-53 at Stony Brook. A late 11-0 run allowed Delaware a 76-68 triumph over Cornell (2-3).

Is it time to panic in Princeton?

In their last game before heading to Maui, Georgetown (2-0) blew away UNC Greensboro by 41. Our friends at Hoya Prospectus crunch the numbers.

An 11-0 run midway through the second half did in Fairfield (1-1) in their home opener against Providence. Sydney Johnson said after the game that he let the school and the community down.

Denver (2-0) won on the road at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, 65-58.

Davidson dropped Richmond (1-1) by 13 in North Carolina. The Spiders went a halftime-spanning 13:20 without a field goal.

Oregon State (2-0) overpowered West Alabama, 93-60. Head coach Craig Robinson was pleased with how his team handled the game.

Around the Ivy League: Despite 26 points from Matt Sullivan, Brown (1-1) lost 77-68 to Albany. Furman rallied to knock off Columbia (0-2). Lions senior Noruwa Agho suffered what appeared to be a serious left knee injury in the second half. His status is unknown. Freshman Shonn Miller had 19 as Cornell (1-1) defeated Binghamton, 76-61. Penn (1-1) fell in a wild OT affair to Temple.

It was a one possession game with under a minute to go, but Dartmouth (0-1) lost at Rutgers by six. Behind 23 points and 13 rebounds from Greg Mangano, Yale (1-0) knocked off Central Connecticut, 73-69.
