Glad to see Denver make the NIT. They have a young team that can use the tourney experience, and this will keep the pressure on Scott to a reasonable level--the school sank a fair amount of money into the BB program and is seeking post-season results.

After the tough Princeton loss at Akron, I said it would be interesting to see how that impressive team did post-season. Well, it got more interesting when their starting point guard was arrested for distributing marijuana. They won the MAC tournament with their backup PG but drew as a Round of 64 opponent...VCU, the fanatical pressing team that lives for turnovers and that is a trendy pick to make a run this year after their previous NCAA exploits. If they can get into the halfcourt on offense, Akron might pull off the upset because their center is so dominant, but that's a big if.

John Templon had Denver as a borderline NIT team, so a home game for the Pioneers is a very nice, well-deserved surprise.

How about Kentucky having to travel to Penn alum Andy Toole and Robert Morris due to Rupp Arena's unavailability?!

Princeton's non-conference schedule included 4, 11 and 12 seeds among the 14 games plus the regular season CAA champ in Northeastern. Elon also won 20+ contests, Lafayette 19. Not too shabby!

I see from the PAW that it was decided not to participarte in any post season tournament. What was the reason for that decision, the poor end to the Ivy season? While I do not know the particulars, I would have thought another chance to play would be good for all- the seniors, the returning players by giving them post-season experience, recruiting, etc. I would appreciate your thoughts.
